I am the one who entertains others. I act on a
stage for all to see. I radiate creativity, passion and enthusiasm. I am
the one who hides my fatigue and exhaustion. I am good at pretending, and
not so good at being real. I am the mask for the one who lives with Chronic
Fatigue Syndrome.
Artist's statement
I began the SoulCollage™ process in a quest
to find my spiritual self. What I found was a complex, energetic and beautiful
soul. This was a bittersweet discovery as I had this tremendous soul inside
a body that could not physically contain it. I still struggle on a daily
basis with this concept. I want to share my passion and creativity, but
some days I cannot even get out of bed. I guess I should also say I have
not come out with my illness until now. I believe SoulCollage™ has given
me the courage to tell others I live and love with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
