I am the one who sees with double vision - animal
insight and human consciousness. I am the bridge between this world and
the world behind the world. I honor the ancient wisdom of the ancestors
and the anima mundi, the soul of the world. The moon's reflective light
illuminates my path of discovery. I speak a pattern language older than
words; I am a crystalline pattern dancing in the moonlight.
Artist's statement
I've placed my SoulCollage™ cards on display
in my study where I'm writing my dissertation. Writing can be a really lonely
thing to do; they feel like allies in my project. The images are a rich
visual expression of multiplicity in unity, something I've always understood
intuitively. I'm also noticing a new comfort level I have in sharing this
deeply personal side of myself with others. It's building my courage to
be who I am.
