I am the one who has the freedom to wear no shoes.
I dip my bare feet into the cool water. I feel the breeze on my skin and
the sunshine on my face. I suddenly FEEL everything. I am listening to my
soul and yearning to be carefree. I am the one who is letting go and welcoming
freedom and change into my spirit. I am the reflection of a child who has
the calm, centered perspective of being reborn. At last…I am ME.
Artist's statement
I see myself through the visions in my soul
cards. When I am lost, I SEE exactly who I am. I look through windows to
my soul. I have bit by bit gathered pieces of the puzzle…the journey to
the inside. There have been surprises along the way, but I am finally able
to answer the question… "WHO AM I?" I can't force a card to appear…it takes
patience, listening to myself, and trusting my instincts. It is a powerful
yet creative way to express who I am in a colorful, visual way.
