Training Schedule
Thursday, November 20: 1:00pm - 5:30pm
Friday, November 21: 9:00am - 5:30pm
Saturday, November 22: 9:00am - 5:30pm
Sunday, November 23: 9:00am - 2:00pm
To receive a "Certificate of Completion" you must attend the training in its entirety. Please take the above schedule into consideration when making your travel arrangements.
Preparation and Prerequisites
Please prepare for the training by:

Reading Seena's book SoulCollage®
-
Reading Seena's article "The Transpersonal Cards of the SoulCollage® Deck"
(it describes two additional cards which were added after the book was published)

Listening to her two CDs
(one is an Introduction to SoulCollage® with a guided
meditation, the other is about Facilitating SoulCollage in Groups)

Reading and familiarizing yourself with the
Principles
of SoulCollage®
-
Making at least a few cards in each suit for your
SoulCollage deck (this is important so that you can gain experience with your
own card-making before learning how to facilitate the process with others)
In addition, you might also consider taking an
introductory SoulCollage® workshop prior to the training if it is
feasible to do so, and if you haven't done so already. This will give you an opportunity to experience the process first as a
participant before we engage with the material as facilitators. If you live in the Seattle area, Maggie Yowell and Alia Calendar will be offering
introductory workshops throughout the summer
and fall. Or,
search for a trained facilitator in your area. Please know that attending an
introductory workshop is a "nice-to-have" and not a prerequisite for the
training.
Accommodations
Accommodations for participants traveling from outside the Seattle area are available at the
Silver Cloud Inn – University
District located at: 5036 25th Avenue NE, Seattle, WA 98105. The Inn
provides a complimentary continental breakfast each morning for their guests.
The Inn provides free shuttle service to and from the conference center and
serves a complimentary continental breakfast every day. A variety of restaurants
are a short walk away.

When making your reservation by phone, please ask for the “Talaris Conference
Rate”. When reserving online, please use the Group Number and Password: TALARIS.

Airport Transportation
Seattle Tacoma (SeaTac) International Airport is 19 miles
away from the hotel and conference center. Approximate driving time is 30-40
minutes. Because there is free shuttle service between the Inn and the
conference center, a rental car is not necessary. Transportation to and from
the airport can be arranged by:
Shuttle Express
Shuttle Express makes ongoing regular runs every day to the Silver Cloud Inn
in the University District. No advance reservations are required. Simply go to
the Shuttle Express kiosk on the third floor parking garage at the airport.
There you will find reservation attendants who will reserve a spot for you on
the next shuttle and book your return reservation as well. Cost per person is
$19.50.
National Town Car Service
This service gives Silver Cloud guests a special discounted rate of $40.00 to
or from the airport. Reservations are made directly through the
Silver Cloud Inn – University
District. Once you arrive at Seattle/Tacoma airport you must call the
driver at 206-228-6526 and they will then tell you where to locate them.
Please note: Pick-ups or drop-offs between the hours of 10:00 pm – 5:00 am are
$50.00.
