Welcome! I’m Noelle Remington, a Certified Professional Coach specializing in helping people live creative and expressive lives. I work with individuals and groups who are ready to experience the freedom of bringing all of who they are to everything they do. Many of my clients have an activist part inside of them that is ready to change the world in some way. Others have an artist part that is ready to emerge. Still others are being called by their personal power, ready to step into their authenticity and activate their self-esteem. All of my clients value a strong connection with the spirit and the sacred in daily life.

This web site is intended to give you an overview of my coaching and facilitation practice, information on my background and experience, and a sense of who I am as a coach. I invite you to visit it often as I continue to update the information and expand its scope.

The Coaching Process
Coaching is a collaborative and creative process designed to help you listen to your heart, find your voice, and give birth to your dreams. We begin with an initial two-and-a-half-hour discovery session to help you clarify where you are today, where you want to be tomorrow, and what might be getting in your way. The discovery session is followed by weekly coaching sessions designed around your agenda. I listen perceptively, reflect back to you what I hear and sense, follow your energy, ask powerful questions, share different perspectives, and support you in transforming obstacles into doorways.

As a creative thinker, I love playing with metaphor, intuition, imagination, and curiosity. This helps my clients get out of their heads and into their hearts. They are able to think outside of the box, find new ways of interpreting their life story, and create the rich and authentic life they love.

Coaching is also a sacred practice, like meditation or journal writing. There is a rhythm and a ritual to it; the weekly coaching session, sitting with an inquiry or taking action on a dream, reflecting on the past week, and preparing for the next contact. It is a way for clients to stay present and aware of the life they are living and the choices they are making. It is a practice that helps clients live with intention.

What is SoulCollage®?
SoulCollage®, developed by Seena Frost, is another way I bring creativity into my work. Using images from magazines, individuals create their own unique deck of cards, where each card represents a different aspect of themselves such as The Artist, The Judge, or The Good Friend. There is a deeper level of knowing that is accessed through images, rather than words. The cards can then be consulted to answer life questions. It’s a way to listen to what’s calling you, to tap into and find that voice that knows what you want, what your next step is, and what your path is all about.

SoulCollage® in Individual Coaching
I weave the SoulCollage process into the very first session with a client. We begin by exploring the inquiry of "who the client is becoming". The client creates a SoulCollage card that visually depicts their future self. The card becomes a grounding card for their life journey, and a stake in the ground for where they are heading. Clients can consult it anytime they desire wisdom from the trail ahead.

The SoulCollage process also provides clients with a unique way of accessing their inner voice when they’re feeling stuck. For example, a client was feeling overwhelmed by decision-making. She created a card for a belief that was limiting her movement; she called it, "All My Ducks in a Row". It represented her belief pattern that she must have "all her ducks in a row" before she makes a decision. By creating a card for this limiting belief, she was able to bring it into her awareness, honor its voice, and be at choice.

SoulCollage® Workshops
I offer a wide range of opportunities to experience the SoulCollage process. Introductory workshops are scheduled once a quarter in three-week and half-day formats. I also offer monthly SoulStudios™, card making workshops designed around a seasonal theme and SoulCollage suit, perfect for both beginning and experienced SoulCollagers. And, ongoing monthly reading groups, called SoulCircles™, where you consult your cards to answer life questions with group support and feedback. My workshops are small and intimate and made up of like-minded individuals on similar journeys which creates community, kinship, and a real sense of mutual support that is powerful and energizing. All workshops are held in the Seattle, WA area.

About Noelle

I bring over 10 years of experience as a facilitator, educator, trainer, and counselor to my role as personal coach. My varied professional experience includes art education for children and adults, corporate training in the software industry, and group facilitation and individual counseling in career development. I am a Certified Professional Coach through the internationally accredited Academy for Coach Training. I also have certifications in the Cycles of Change Model through Centerpoint Institute for Life and Career Renewal and in Training and Human Resource Development through the University of California at Santa Cruz Extension. I am a graduate of the SoulCollage® Facilitator Training with Seena Frost, have assisted in past trainings, and mentor new facilitators. My work is grounded in my educational roots in Art and Women’s Studies, and my passion for creativity and self-expression.
